Dr Inayat Hussain Amir Mohammad

Dr Inayat Hussain was born on 25 May 1928 in the town of Bundi, in Rajasthan state, in Uttar Pradesh Province, India. He grew up and was educated in Bundi, Rajasthan. He attended the King George's Medical College, University of Lucknow, UP, where he studied for his MBBS degree (1947-1953). He graduated with MBBS degree from King George's Medical College, University of Lucknow, India in 1953. He continued to pursue postgraduate studies at the same university and then worked in Kashmir.

Dr Inayat Hussain received a job offer from the District Hospital in Kemaman, Terengganu. He first married and then came to work in Terengganu. He served at District Hospital Kemaman, General Hospital Kuala Terengganu and District Hospital Dungun.

Dr Inayat Hussain was a member of the Malaysian Medical Mission to Makkah, along with Dr Che Lah bin Md Joonos (Penang) and Dr Haji Ahmad (Kedah). Dr Inayat Hussain was a Hajj doctor for 4 Hajj pilgrimages (1963, 1964, 1966 and 968). He brought along his wife for their Hajj in 1964.

Dr Inayat and wife have 5 children, 3 boys and 2 girls.
