Living Through Two World Wars, Emergency & Independence

Tan Sri Dato’ Dr Mohd Din lived through two world wars, World War I (1917-18) in his early life and World War II (1941-45), when he was a Medical Officer (MO) in Kuala Kangsar District Hospital, Perak. Following the Japanese Occupation in Malaya (December 1941-45), he then lived during the Malayan Emergency (1948-60) during the British Reoccupation of Malaya until Malaya gained its independence on 31 August 1957.
