Salam Rukiah Hanoum,

Thank you for visiting my TEMD blog. I have your aunt's name down in my book but not her #. Thanks for her #. She had attended the Malayan Teachers' Training College in Kirkby and would probably know my late mum (Tulip bt Che Lah).

I obtained a lot of details about Sir Kamil Mohd Ariff from books loaned by Datuk Zubaidah Ariff via my sister (Sharifah Abdul Rashid who works at CAP Penang).

Yes Rukiah,
It is such a small world, and we thought it was big and foreign. It makes a great difference when we get to know people, real down-to-earth people who make the world come alive. I'm happy you dropped by and started everything rolling. TQVH for the wishes. I think there will a big rush for the book when it is out for sale, you really have to rush for it. If Penerbit USM prints only 1,500 copies, then you know what I mean, big rush, first come first serve. No repeat printing. I will announce here when the book comes out for sale.

Salam Faridah,
Can i give a suggestion about Chapter 8 (if it is still accepted)...its about the family that follows Sir KM Ariff's footsteps...I think u should only mention 3 ie Dr. Amin Ariff bin Nurudin(his grandson),Dr.Mohd. Fahim bin Abd.Rahman(attached to Hospt. Sult. Ismail,JB) & Dr. Solehah Hanoum bin Omar Ariff(attached to Kajang Hospital.I think may be u should leave out about the children. Also u missed out one of Mushir Ariff's children ie Amir Ariff.(Zalina Hanoum is adopted).Zakiah Hanoum's children..Sharifah Zariah Hanoum,Sharifah Zawiyah Hanoum,Syed Kamarulzaman & Sharifah Munawarah(without Hanoum). Myfather's name is Omar Farouk Ariff( retired as Radiographer at Penang GH)...yang tu setakat ni....Hope its of help to u.Goodluck
